Madipally

Madipally is a village almost 400 years old. Its 6 km. From Thorrur which is about 60 km from Warangal.It is 125 km far from its State Main City Hyderabad. The village is currently undergoing development. Villagers start their daily activities at 4AM. Agricultural work is the primary source of income for the villagers. Residents cultivate rice, corn, and tamarind.

Chelama

Chelama is the oldest well in the village.It was dug approximately 200 years ago. Water from this particular well is considered pure by the villagers. Madipally is connected to municipal water through pipeline. However, villagers prefer water from Chelama for drinking.Although the purity of this water is questionable, Madipally villagers make sure that they get at least two pots of water from this well for a day . The base of the well is a huge stone which the villagers are keen on removing for fear of disturbing the water. This increases the chances of water contamination. The well, however, has never run dry from around 1800 years in-spite of the rock on its bottom.

Buruju

Buruju is almost 400 years old. It is the store house of weapons of thieves. They used to store these weapons in Buruju with a protection in front. The entry is different, however. You would need to go to top with the stairs provided around it. They used to make a sound (dandorra) to let the villagers know their presence. it belongs to vatte mahesh chander reddy ( S/o vatte narayana reddy ) property. People here all are celebrating the dussera festival in front of gadi maisamma(goddess)

School

Education is what differentiates man from animals. It is extremely important that every child is given the opportunity to receive at least a primary education. Madipally children have access to primary education from a school in the village.The school's building walls have the Indian map painted on them as well as Indian national leaders' photos. These help the students recognize their leaders.

Agriculture

The main occupation of the villagers is obviously agriculture. There are different types of crops They are: 1. Paddy. 2. Corn 3. Turmeric 4. Cotton 5. Chillies 6. Nuvvulu 7. Audham 8.Peasrlu 9.Groundnut Of all these paddy, turmeric, corn, cotton are the major crops produced. Water facility for the agriculture is not good. There is no fresh water lake for the usage of the crops. There is a well but it is too bad for the cultivation. Due to the lack of water they are not able to cultivate chillies. Here in this village we mainly find four types of lands. They are:
1. Ragadi (more fertile)
2. Erragakka (moderate fertile)
3. Telle dhubba (less fertile)
4. Savuda Nella (not fertile) In Savuda nella, the water does not sink.

Conclusion

Lastly, Madipally is a developing village. It is provided with many necessary facilities. It has many intelligent minds which help the future citizens of our nation. Here water agriculture is well developed. However, in Madipally, there are many has got many old buildings. Additionally, poor people are remaining destitute because these facilities are not reaching them. They are suffering with water and food problems.
